Applications are invited for the position of Team Leader (TL), Senior Associates (SA), and Support/Ancillary Staff, in the Performance Delivery Unit, Prime Minister’s Office (Public), Islamabad.
The Jobs require a proactive mind-set, vast experience in working of the Criminal Justice Systems, along with an ability to frequently interact, and follow up with the Federal Divisions / Ministries, Provincial and Regional Governments in a professional manner. The persons hired shall be required to work on matters related to the revamping of different components of Criminal Justice System, to provide for an efficient and expeditious disposal of criminal cases, particularly those related to commission of acts of terrorism.
Selected candidates shall be required to give quality output on any assigned subject. Ideal candidates must have very strong inter-personal skills and ability to work independently in a very diversified and dynamic environment.
1. Team Leader (MP-1 negotiable)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Qualification / Experience: A Master’s degree / equivalent in a relevant field from an HEC recognised local or foreign university, with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience at national and /or international level. Candidates possessing higher degree and experience would be given preference.
- Age: 35 to 55 years.
- Salary: Minimum of MP-I, negotiable in case of higher qualifications and experience
- Period: Initially for a period of two years, extendable by mutual consent.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead a team of professionals to:
- Identify the challenges faced by the existing Criminal Justice System (CJS);
- Oversee and coordinate the reformation / revamping of CJS, aimed at ensuring quick disposal of terrorism related offences and organized crime;
- Study the international best practices regarding but not limited to special courts, security of judges, prosecutors, investigators and witnesses protection, speedy trials; and develop proposals on replication of the same in Pakistan;
- Develop proposals on legal and institutional framework related to virtual trials and paperless judicial proceedings;
- Develop proposals on the training programs and capacity building of judges, prosecutors and investigators and improvements in the available training facilities;
- Coordinate with Ministries of Interior, Information Technology and Telecom, PTA, NADRA, Provincial Governments, and other relevant stakeholders for the preparation of software for virtual trials;
- Coordinate with various bodies/organizations working on revamping of CJS, aimed at expeditious disposal of criminal cases, to develop policy options for the consideration of the Government;
- Keep track and coordinate with the Law and Justice Division and the Law & Prosecution Departments of the Provincial Governments regarding steps for the improvement of CJS
- Keep the Prime Minister regularly informed about the progress in the matter.
2. Senior Associates (Equivalent to MP-2)
- Number of Positions: 2
- Qualification / Experience: A Master’s degree / equivalent in a relevant field from an HEC recognised local or foreign university with a minimum of 7 years relevant work experience at national and /or international level. Candidates possessing higher degree and experience would be given preference.
- Age: 30 to 45 years
- Salary: Minimum of MP-II, negotiable in case of higher qualifications and experience
- Period: Initially for a period of two years, extendable by mutual consultation.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist the Team Leader to:
- Identify the challenges faced by the existing Criminal Justice System (CJS);

- Qualification / Experience: A Bachelor’s degree / equivalent with relevant work experience.
- Age: 25 to 35 years
- Salary: Fixed, Rs 35000/month
- Period: Initially for a period of two years, extendable by mutual consent.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide necessary secretariat support to the Team in performance of their functions;
